Saying goodbye: Becky and Patrick have their final day with us this Sunday, 11th Feb. That morning, following the 11 am service, there will be a ‘Bring and Share’ lunch, in All Saints’. For more info. please speak with Chris Connor (07557 529186).
Love in a Box: ‘We would like to thank all in All Saints’ ockbrook and St Stephen’s Borrowash for your generosity in filling shoeboxes for our 2023 ‘Love in a Box’ Christmas Shoebox Appeal. We are very pleased to tell you that, thanks to contributions like yours, we were able to send 2,951 shoeboxes from the Derby area to children living in poverty in Romania’.
‘The charity that we supported, Teams4U, sent a total of 64,045 shoeboxes to children in Eastern Europe, an increase of 1,471 from 2022. Some of our warehouse volunteers went to help deliver the shoeboxes and attached are a few of their photographs showing how pleased the children were to receive their gifts’. Christingle Thanks: ‘Thanks everyone who supported the Children’s Society in 2023. As a result, I have been able to send £392.55 to the Children’s Society, £169.00 from the Christingle Services and £223.55 from the collection boxes. Thank you so much! Sheila Exley.
World Day of Prayer: There’s a joint World Day of Prayer Service in Borrowash Methodist Church on Friday 1st March at 11.00am. This service has been written by the Christian women of Palestine who would have started preparing the service three years ago. It is even more important now to pray for all the people in Palestine as they endure such horrific deprivation and fear. All are most welcome. Sheila Exley.

All Saints’ Nave Lights: the switches are in the wall-box, on the left, by the turn to the loos and kitchen. Please remember the nave lights are on dimmer-switches, which can be easily turned up for increased brightness if needed.
Tim will be away from work from Friday 16th Feb to Sat 24th Feb.
Betty Tyler’s Funeral is booked for Friday 1st March 1.30pm at Trent Valley, followed by a celebration of Betty’s life, 2.15pm in All Saints’ Ockbrook. All are most welcome. Please continue to pray for Keith and all the family at this time.

Pastor Gopal in Nepal: I have recently heard from Gopal and he is requesting financial assistance. He looks after 80 churches throughout Nepal, 30 orphans and a Bible School. I visited him in 2010. Since Sheila Addison died he has seen his gifted income drop substantially and is requesting a regular £300.00. I have explained this might me difficult but that we will help where we can. Would you please pray for the need and if you are prompted to give in some way please let me know. Zoe and I send a regular gift via Western Union. Tim
