Safeguarding – everyone’s business.

Is part of our core faith and an integral feature of Christian life in our parish church. The welfare of the child, young person and vulnerable adults is at all times paramount and takes precedence over all other considerations. The care and protection of church children, young people and adults involved in Church activities is the responsibility of everyone who participates in the life of the Church. 

All Saints’ & St Stephen’s commitment is to: 

• Promote a safe environment and culture. 
• Safely recruit and support all those with any responsibility related to children and vulnerable adults. 
• Respond promptly to every safeguarding concern or allegation regarding abuse. 
• Care pastorally for victims/survivors of abuse or other affected persons. 
• Care pastorally for those who are the subject of concerns/allegations of abuse and other affected persons. 
• Respond to those that may pose a present risk.
