Cancelled Christingle Carols – Christmas Eve 2021 – 6pm
With heavy heart and after much deliberation we have decided to cancel this year’s Christmas Eve. Christingle Carols Round the Tree Service at St Stephen’s. Even though many of us are fully vaccinated, with 100 people booked in, we may be putting some at risk. We recognise there will be disappointment over this, and so we simply wish to thank you for your understanding.
At the moment we have decided to keep both the midnight mass on Christmas Eve. which begins at 11.15 pm in St Stephen’s, and the Christmas Day morning worship service there, beginning at 10 am. We are doing this recognising that there is likely to be significantly reduced congregational numbers this year.
Should there be any other changes either prior to, or just after Christmas, which impact our current service planning, we will inform everyone using the website, Facebook and other means available to us.
